Yashoda Medicity organizes #RunForYourHeart – Yashoda Half Marathon 3.0 on World Heart Day

Promoting heart health and fitness, the third edition of the Yashoda Half Marathon saw 4,000+ participants come together to celebrate World Heart Day.

Ghaziabad, September 28, 2025: Yashoda Medicity, one of the leading hospitals in Delhi-NCR. Organized the Yashoda Half Marathon 3.0 on the occasion of World Heart Day under the campaign “Run For Your Heart.” The event flagged off at 5:30 AM from Yashoda Medicity by Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman & Managing Director, Yashoda Medicity; Dr. Upasana Arora, Managing Director, Yashoda Medicity; Shri Arun Singh. Hon’ble MP and National General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Party; and Shri Ravindra Kumar Mandar, IAS, District Magistrate, Ghaziabad. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the entire Delhi-NCR community.

This was the third edition of the Yashoda Group of Hospitals’ Half Marathon. Aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of heart health and preventive care. Special Olympics Bharat joined hands with Yashoda Medicity to support this noble cause. This year, the event received an overwhelming response. With over 4,000 runners participating across four categories – 21.1 Km, 10 Km, 5 Km, and 3 Km. The participation of children, adults, and senior citizens turned the marathon into a true celebration of health and fitness. Adding further meaning to the event, over 100 children from Special Olympics Bharat also participated.

The marathon began at Yashoda Medicity, passed through the Elevated Road, and concluded at the hospital premises. The race was conducted safely and successfully, with hydration stations placed at regular intervals, on-ground medical staff available for support. And health check-up counters set up along the sidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of participants.

In the 21.1 Km category (men and women), winners awarded a cash prize of ₹11,000. While the first and second runners-up received ₹7,100 and ₹5,100 respectively. In the 10 Km race, the winner awarded ₹7,100, and the runners-up received ₹5,100 and ₹3,100. In the 5 Km category, the winners received ₹5,100, while the first and second runners-up awarded ₹3,100 and ₹2,100 respectively.

Shri Arun Singh, Hon’ble MP and National General Secretary, BJP , said,
“The Yashoda Half Marathon united the community in a celebration of fitness and heart health. While emphasizing the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle through regular physical activity.”

Shri Ravindra Kumar Mandar, IAS, District Magistrate, Ghaziabad , said,
“The energy and enthusiasm displayed by the participants at Yashoda Half Marathon 3.0 reflects the spirit of the community. Such initiatives are vital in promoting healthy lifestyles and raising awareness about heart health.”

Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman & Managing Director, Yashoda Medicity, said,
