New Delhi: The Department of Nephrology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, is hosting the 2nd Annual Conference of the Avatar India Society – AVATAR INDIA 2025 – from 21st to 24th August 2025 at Hotel Pullman, Aerocity, New Delhi. The conference being under the guidance of eminent leaders in nephrology, including Dr. D.S. Rana, Dr. A.K. Bhalla, Dr. Ashwini Gupta, Dr. Manish Malik, Dr. Anurag Gupta and Dr. Vinant Bhargava.

AVATAR INDIA 2025 will bring together more than 600 delegates from across the country to discuss the latest advancements in vascular access, haemodialysis, peritoneal Kidney Dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). The scientific program will highlight key topics such as the importance of timely creation and proper management of AV fistulas, new advances in haemodialysis and the management of complications, evolving techniques in peritoneal dialysis, including catheter placement, and the role of CRRT in critical care with new filters for poisoning and ABO-incompatible transplants.

A major attraction of the conference will be its pre-conference workshops, which will provide hands-on training in AV fistula and CAPD catheter creation, ultrasound-guided fistuloplasties and central venoplasties, immunological advancements, and swap kidney transplantation techniques. These workshops will focus on practical skill-building and experiential learning for young nephrologists. The Avatar India Society, through this conference, continues its mission of advancing education, training, and research in vascular access, Kidney Dialysis, and swap kidney transplant, immunology work of by providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration to improve patient outcomes.
