The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 exam, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), is scheduled for August 11. The exam will be held in two shifts: the first from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Candidates who have registered for the test can now download their admit cards from the official NBEMS website (nbe.edu.in).

Important Admit Card Instructions

When printing the NEET PG admit card, candidates must ensure it is printed in color on a single A4 size white paper, using both sides (back to back). This card is essential for entry into the examination hall.

Exam Format and Location

The NEET PG 2024 will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) across 500 test centers in 185 cities nationwide. The exam will follow a time-bound pattern, meaning all candidates will have the same amount of time to complete each section, no matter where they are taking the exam.

Candidates were informed of their test city on July 29 via their registered email addresses, and the admit cards were made available on the NBEMS website on August 8.

What to Bring to the Exam Center?

On the day of the exam, candidates are only allowed to bring a printed copy of their admit card, a valid government-issued photo ID (in original), and a photocopy of their permanent or provisional SMC, MCI, or NMC registration. No other items are permitted.

NEET PG 2024: Exam Day Guidelines

1. Arrival Times: Candidates should arrive well in advance of their exam slot. For the morning slot, it is recommended to reach the exam center by 8:30 AM, and for the afternoon slot, by 3:00 PM. The exam center gates will open at 7:00 AM for the morning slot and 1:30 PM for the afternoon slot.

2. Prohibited Devices: The use of electronic devices such as cell phones, calculators, pen drives, and tablets is strictly prohibited at the exam venue.

3. Biometric Registration: Candidates are advised not to apply henna or any color on their fingers to avoid complications during the finger biometric registration process.

Items Not Allowed at the Exam Center

Certain items are strictly barred from the exam center, including:

– Any stationery, such as notes, calculators, pens, or erasers.

– All electronic devices, including mobile phones, Bluetooth, and earphones.

– Jewelry and accessories like bracelets, rings, necklaces, and religious items.

– Other personal items such as wallets, belts, caps, and handbags.

– Any food or drink, including bottled water. Water will be provided at the exam center.

Additionally, any item that could be used for unfair means or to hide communication devices (e.g., spy cameras, wireless devices) is not allowed.

The NEET PG exam will be conducted nationwide, following strict guidelines to ensure a fair and smooth process. Candidates are advised to carefully review all instructions and arrive at the exam center well-prepared. Originally scheduled for earlier dates, the exam was postponed multiple times for various reasons, with the final date set for August 11, 2024.
