Sleep is a need and not just a process that needs to be followed every day. a good sleep can help us eat less exercise better and be healthier.

The more deeply you sleep, the more effective your brain performance becomes. In fact, adults need minimum 7 hours of sleep for maximum brain performance but most of the them reject this idea and sleep for lesser hours. They may also show cranky behavior and can find it difficult to easily gel with people.

  1. Affects our brain’s functionality: Our brain finds it difficult to concentrate and learn new things. If sleep deprivation continues for a longer period people might also start hallucinating and not be able to differentiate between imagination and reality.
  2. Hinders our memory power: Lack of sleep turns out to be a hurdle in our memory power. During sleep, our brain forms connection that help us process and remember information. A lack of sleep can negatively impact both short and long -term memory.
  3. Mood swings: It also affects our day-to-day mood.  People might feel cranky and irritated throughout the day. This might also make us compromise decision-making processes and creativity.
