Yashoda Medicity Unveils Third Edition of Yashoda Half Marathon 3.0 ‘Run for Your Heart’

Ghaziabad, September 22, 2025: Yashoda Medisity, one of the leading hospitals in Delhi-NCR, today officially unveiled the logo, T-shirt, and medal of the third edition of the Yashoda Half Marathon 3.0 – ‘Run for Your Heart’. The marathon will held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 5:30 AM onwards.

The press conference witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests, including Mr. Deepak Agrawal, IAS, Managing Director, NAFED; Mr. Abhinav Gopal, IAS, Chief Development Officer, Ghaziabad; Mr. Vikramaditya Singh Malik, IAS, Municipal Commissioner, Ghaziabad; Mr. Namash Patel, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Trans-Hindon, Ghaziabad); and Mr. Atul Vats, Vice Chairman, Ghaziabad Development Authority. Together with Yashoda Medisity’s leadership team, they unveiled this year’s marathon, highlighting the significance of such community-driven initiatives in promoting healthy and active lifestyles.

In addition to the unveiling, a panel discussion by Yashoda Medicity’s team of cardiologists held, focusing on heart health, preventive care, and the rising incidence of cardiovascular diseases across all age groups.

This year, the event expected to witness participation from over 3,000 runners. The marathon will feature four different categories: 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km, and 3 km, catering to both seasoned runners and beginners. The race will start from Yashoda Medisity, pass through the Elevated Road and Raj Nagar Extension, and culminate back at Yashoda Medisity.

To encourage competition across categories, cash prizes will awarded. Winners of the 21.1 km race (male and female) will receive ₹11,000, with the first and second runner-up receiving ₹7,100 and ₹5,100 respectively. Winners of the 10 km race will receive ₹7,100, while the first and second runner-up will get ₹5,100 and ₹3,100. For the 5 km race, winners will receive ₹5,100, with runner-up prizes of ₹3,100 and ₹2,100. These rewards aim to inspire participants to adopt active lifestyles and remain aware of heart health.
