There are various symptoms in different people that differ from individual to gender as especially in women they face unique symptoms. It is important to understand these symptoms at the initial stage and have a proper treatment.

What is Pancreatitis?

Pancreatitis is basically of two types one is acute and other is chronic. Acute Pancreatitis is a short term condition. It caused by gallstones, excessive alcohol intake or when you are recovering from short – term injury. Whereas chronic Pancreatitis is a long term condition that doesn’t get treate easily and gets worse after time. It causes continuous consumption of alcohol, genetic factors and other medical conditions.

Common Pancreatitis Symptoms In Females

  There are different types of symptoms that can be seen 

Abdominal Pain

It is the most common symptom that can be seen. It starts from the abdominal pain that goes till the back which later on can get severe and can provide discomfort. 

Nausea and Vomiting

One who is facing acute pancreatitis can face some nausea and vomiting.

Rapid Pulse

One can face an increased heart rate which is also a type of symptom.

Weight Loss

If someone is facing an unintentional weight loss that can also be a symptom. As it usually happens when they diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis.

Unique Considerations for Females

Some symptoms remain in both genders but there are some other symptoms that can be seen in women.

Hormonal Factors

The most common symptoms that are in women are hormonal changes especially during pregnancy, menstruation and menopause. As it impacts the digestive health and causes some nausea.

Risk Factors

There are some certain medical conditions that can be more in women like gallstone which increases the risk of developing pancreatitis.

 Symptoms Reporting

After some studies it found that women feel less of severe abdominal pain than men which makes it difficult to recognise at times and get a proper treatment.

 Chronic Pancreatitis and Diabetes

There are a lot more chances of developing diabetes in women than men which is a complication of chronic pancreatitis which makes it worse for their health.

If any female who faces severe abdominal pain and also faces some nausea and vomiting or fever then it advised to take immediate medical help from the medical professionals as early detection and medical help can make things better.
