No matter you prefer intense workouts or just regular warmup sessions, people who live a sedentary lifestyle must do some type of exercise. But for the best results from these workouts, you must also focus on pre and post-workout meals. According to fitness experts, these meals are crucial for the best results. Today we are going to tell you some food options that you can include in your post-workout regime. These foods can be picked on the type of workout you like to do. Here are a few health tips:-

Coconut Water Along With Moringa Powder:

Coconut water has a lot of nutritional value. It contains magnesium, potassium and electrolytes. Experts suggest mixing moringa powder with coconut water post-light workouts. Moringa is a plant protein rich in 18 amino acids. When mixed with coconut water, it forms proteins your body needs.

Beetroot Juice:

Beetroot juice is highly nutritious. Nitric oxide present in beetroot can help muscles to heal faster. Beetroot juice boosts oxygen circulation and also reduces inflammation.

Buttermilk:

A glass of fresh buttermilk is a combination of both proteins and carbohydrates. This is why it can be your best choice post-workout. According to experts, a glass of buttermilk can provide approximately 8 gm of protein.

Eggs:

This is one of the most important diets for those going to the gym. Eggs are a good source of protein and a medium-sized egg contains around 6-8 grams of protein.

Boiled Chana:

Boiled chana is a good source of protein, minerals and vitamins. One bowl of boiled chana can provide approximately 6-7 gm of protein.

Sattu:

If you are among those who don’t trust protein shake powders available in the market, sattu can be the best choice for you. Two tablespoon sattu powder can provide up to 7 grams of protein.

Paneer:

Last but not the least, paneer is a good source of protein. It will also keep you full for longer hours. 100gm of paneer can provide roughly 18 grams of protein.
