Cancer-Causing Food And Drinks That One Should Quit!

  • Packaged Food– Increasing consumption of packaged food, adulterated food, greasy food and the diminishing input of fresh produce and exercise has led to cause an imbalance in the body and has resulted in many diseases.
  • Aerated Drinks– A few food habits or beverages that one must avoid consuming include the aerated drinks and sodas available in the market. These drinks have no nutritional value present in them and are filled with artificial colouring, chemicals and high quantity sugar.
  • Excessive sugar intake has a tendency to multiply cancer cells. Another beverage that must be consumed cautiously is alcohol. Excessive consumption will lead to damage your livers, and also has been found to increase the risk of cancer.
  • Smoking: Smoking or use of tobacco has also been associated as a risk factor for all types of cancer.
  • Processed Food– A widely consumed yet dangerous food article that has proven to put you at risk are canned and processed food. They are high in salt, fat and starch, which transforms into sugar. Canned and processed foods should also be best avoided as they are infused with all kinds of chemicals and preservatives which aren’t good for the body. Especially BPA, a chemical that studies have shown has resulted in causing cancer. Ration your intake of fried food, all-purpose flour, ready to eat food and meals from a fast-food joint or a restaurant. All can be very damaging to your health.

It’s best advised to follow a proper diet with measured nutritional value, consume more home-cooked meals and consciously reduce sugar from your diet and exercise regularly. It is also recommended that all individuals take periodic health-checks for cancer screening.
