A tragic incident occurred at a baby care hospital in Vivek Vihar, East Delhi, on Saturday night. A big fire broke out, causing the death of at least seven newborn babies. The fire started around 11:32 pm, and the Delhi Fire Services quickly sent 16 fire trucks to help.

Rescue workers managed to save 12 babies from the building’s first floor, but sadly, six of them passed away while receiving treatment. Shockingly, one baby had already died before anyone could call for help. Five other children are currently getting medical attention at the hospital.

The exact cause of the fire is still unknown, and authorities are investigating. Legal action has been taken against the hospital owner as part of the process. Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, expressed deep sadness over the incident and promised a thorough investigation. He assured that those responsible for any negligence would face consequences.

In another unfortunate incident, three people lost their lives in a fire that broke out in a residential building in Krishna Nagar, Delhi, early on Sunday. The fire started around 2:35 am and was finally put out by 7:20 am. Although 13 people were rescued, three couldn’t survive the blaze.

On the same day, tragedy struck again in Rajkot, Gujarat, where a massive fire in a gaming zone claimed the lives of 27 people, including nine children. The bodies were badly burned, making identification difficult, according to Assistant Commissioner of Police Vinayak Patel.

President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressed their condolences to the families affected by these heart-breaking incidents.

These incidents serve as a reminder of the importance of fire safety and the need for thorough investigations to prevent such tragedies in the future. The loss of innocent lives is deeply saddening, and the nation mourns with the families of the victims.
