Store food properly by refrigerating it and using airtight containers. Practice good food hygiene by washing your hands before and after handling raw meat, poultry, or fish. Avoid cross-contamination by using separate utensils and cutting boards for raw and cooked food.
Boosting your immunity is another essential aspect of preventing food poisoning. Maintain a healthy gut microbiome by consuming a diverse diet of unprocessed foods. Minimize the use of antibiotics, processed foods, and excessive sugar. Additionally, monitor water quality and use a quality water filter at home or opt for packaged water when going out.
