Apollo Hospitals, Aragonda, First to Perform 250 Knee Replacement in Remote Village

New Delhi, February 4: Apollo Hospitals, Aragonda have become Asia’s first rural hospital to successfully perform 250 Total Knee Replacements (211 unilateral & 21 Bilateral, Four Shoulder Arthroscopy and One ACL Left Knee construction) in a remote village.

On May 2018, the hospital started this program and till date has successfully conducted the operations with 100% success rate.

Apollo Hospitals, Aragonda is the first hospital in Asia to perform record Knee Replacement Surgeries (Unilateral & Bilateral) in a remote village.

The operations were performed by a team of accomplished doctors namely Dr. Madan Mohan Reddy, Dr. Vijay Kishore Reddy, Dr. Kunal Patel, Dr. Sasidhar Reddy, Dr. Sridhar, Dr. Sreenivasan who are travelling every forth night to aragonda and treating rural patients with utmost care and dedication.
