Dr. H. Sudarshan Ballal
Dr. H. Sudarshan Ballal was the best outgoing student (Blue Ribbon awardee) of the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and a recipient of many Gold Medals in MBBS and M.D. and later had his further training in the USA and had the distinction of being one of the few to be triple Board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology & Critical Care. He has the rare distinction of being appointed as Professor of Medicine with St. Louis University School of Medicine (USA) and is also Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Manipal University.
He was conferred the fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, London for his contribution in Medicine.
After working as a Consultant in Nephrology and Transplantation at the St. Louis University School of Medicine, he moved back to India to head the Nephrology Unit at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.
He has been with Manipal Hospital, Bangalore ever since its inception as the Director of Manipal Institute of Nephrology & Urology, later served Medical Director and Chairman of Medical Advisory Board and is currently holds the position of the Chairman, Manipal Hospitals, Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.
He is also the Chairman of Stempeutics Research Pvt. Ltd. (A Group Company of Manipal Education and Medical Group, Bangalore). He is currently also the President of NATHEALTH (Healthcare Federation of India, New Delhi).
Siddhartha Bhattacharya
Siddhartha Bhattacharya brings over twenty years of leadership experience in health, technology and technology enabled services sector across India and USA. Siddhartha has demonstrated his leadership credentials in both Public and Private Sectors in India where he has been responsible for strategic advisory services, operational delivery and technology leadership in the health sector.
He joined as Secretary General of NATHEALTH in December, 2018. In his new role, Siddhartha is leading the organization and working with key partners in realizing NATHEALTH’s vision/ mission to spearhead the goal of high quality, affordable health for all.
Bhattacharya joined NATHEALTH from ACCESS Health International, a leading health think tank and advisory group with a mission to improve access to high quality, affordable healthcare for people everywhere.
As Country Director in India, he was responsible for organizational leadership and worked extensively in areas that drove scalable innovation in healthcare systems, delivery, financing, and technology. Siddhartha led the think tank, advisory services, implementation support and innovation transfer programs of ACCESS Health India office and drove the functional integration with global offices.
Prior to ACCESS Health, Siddhartha worked with Emergency Management and Research Institute (GVK EMRI), where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Technology Head for four years. He oversaw the design, development, and delivery of health outreach services, which resulted in improved delivery of emergency health services across multiple states and union territories in India.
Mr. Bhattacharya has also held prior leadership positions at Dell, Inc. (USA), Dell International Services (India), Philips (India), and the Government of Kerala, where he was Chief Executive Officer of Information Technology parks across the state.
Commander Navneet Bali
Commander Navneet Bali has completed his Masters in Finance from NIFM and B.Sc. from JNU. He has also done his Financial cum Administrative Management course for the Navy and a Special course on Strategic Financial Management, Inventory Control and Working Capital Management from Edinburgh Business School, Scotland.
Prior to joining NH Narayan Health, he was associated with IOSPL (Cancer Therapy Centers) as Group COO and Head of Business. He also worked with Rockland Hospitals as Unit Director. Before venturing into the Healthcare Industry, he served the Indian Navy for almost 30 years. he was associated with IOSPL (Cancer Therapy Centers) as Group COO and Head of Business. In his current role at NH, he is responsible for overall strategic planning, operations management, service excellence and business development of the Northern Region.
