All-On-4 is a dental implant treatment for giving fixed teeth to patients in which “All” teeth are being supported “on four” dental implants in one jaw. It is a dental procedure done by an Implant specialist dentist for total rehabilitation (All teeth replacement) of the edentulous patient (patient without teeth) or for patients with badly broken-down teeth, decayed teeth, or compromised teeth due to gum disease.

An all-On-4 transplant is done by placing four implants in the Upper jaw and four in the Lower jaw, Special area where bone density is higher and good bone availability exists is selected to place implants. The four implants support a fixed prosthesis with 12 teeth and fixed teeth are given to the patient immediately.
What are the Advantages?
Patients can get fixed teeth immediately, whereas in a conventional implant procedure patient normally has to wait for three to four months after implant surgery for a crown/cap to be fixed on it. Implants selected for placement in All on Four are longer and of peculiar design so that they can be immediately loaded.
Also, chances of complications involving nerve and sinus get eliminated. Apart from all these advantages All on four is a graft-less procedure thereby eliminating the need for artificial bone and hence chances of infection also.
