‘Setting Dekho Bande Ki’: Man Gets Covid Jab Through Window At Vaccination Centre – Video Goes Viral

Amid the rush at the vaccination centres, getting yourself vaccinated is a difficult task, while vaccination is the only way to beat the virus. People waiting in long queues outside the vaccination centres to get their Covid jabs are something which is very commonly seen all across the country.

While a situation like this, a video went viral on the internet where a lucky man was able to get respite from long queues and he got his jab through a window at a vaccination centre. The 15-second undated clip went viral after a named Tarun Tyagi shared the footage on Facebook.

The video of the incident is making rounds on social media platforms.

In the short video, a man is seen precariously balancing himself between two walls behind a building, next to a window. He has his shirt removed and rolled on his right arm and shoulder and moments later a person wearing rubber gloves stretches their hands outside the window, apparently vaccinating the man.

The video is captioned as, “Aapasdariaur setting to humare desh ki shaan hai. (Mutual understanding and setting are the love of our country).” In true news style, the camera then pans out to show people standing in a long queue on the other side of the building, waiting to get their shots.

While it is not clear, that when and where the video was shot but the viral video has reached over four lakh views and has been shared more than 5,000 times. People have flocked the video with comments to express their reactions and have shared it across all social media platforms.

However, there are mix and match kinds of reactions from the netizens like many users found the incident funny, while others mentioned that getting vaccinated through such means was unsafe.

Appreciating the man’s networking skills, a user said, “Setting dekho bande ki (Watch this man’s connections),” while another remarked, “Backdoor service.”

“Isn’t this the most unhygienic way to secure from virus?” another asked. “Yahi to hai India (This is India),” wrote one user.

Meanwhile, India is racing to get the majority of its population vaccinated at the earliest. According to data released by the Ministry of Health it has been reported that India has administered more than 88.13 lakh doses in the last 24 hours under its Nationwide Vaccination drive. This is the highest ever vaccination achieved in a single day since the start of our vaccination drive. Along with this, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage achieved a 55 Cr milestone yesterday. Cumulatively,55,47,30,609 vaccine doses have been administered through 62,12,108 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today.
