New Delhi, February 1-Industry body FICCI says its recommendations for healthcare sector accepted in the Union Budget 2020-21.
FICCI had demanded that increase in budgetary allocation for healthcare Public allocation for health should substantially increased in line with the government’s intent to reach 2.5% of GDP on healthcare by 2025.
FICCI had also demanded that a large portion of that allocation should be reversed on spending on primary health and 1.5 lakh HWC under Ayushman.
