The assault on a junior doctor in Kolkata, who was severely injured and sustained brain injuries after being beaten up by the relatives of a patient who passed away has taken up the form of a massive protest carried out by resident doctors nationwide. AIIMS RDA lays the biggest hand of support for the issue of safety of doctors at workplace, the protest was further addressed by a strike, due to which only emergency services were functioning and patients had to go through a row of difficulties. Anxious doctors gathered at AIIMS and shared their demands and the inconvenience and risk they have face while working.
