A patient who recently returned from a foreign trip has admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi and shifted to the AB-7 ward for isolation and treatment.

The detection of the suspected case has raised concerns about the potential for a resurgence of the monkeypox virus, which has been causing global outbreaks in recent years. While the patient’s diagnosis is still under investigation, the admission to AIIMS Delhi signifies the seriousness of the situation.
