New Delhi, February 1- Dr Naushad Forbes, Confederation of Indian Industry, presented his views to the media on Union Budget 2020-21.
He said that he “didn’t hear an explicit recognition that we are in a crisis, that we are at the lowest growth,” while speaking to NDTV.
“For our economy to recover fast, it’s good to have realism in the numbers in the growth rate projected next year as 10%. Much of the dispute in GDP calculation over the last 15 years has been on the difference between nominal and real. Most people have agreed on normal growth rate but it’s the real growth rate, most people have disagreed about.”
