New Delhi, February 1-Dilip Harel Mitra Chenoy, Managing Director & CEO of National Skill Development Corporation, Secretary General of FICCI, spoke to Healthwire on what more he expected from the government on healthcare front in the Union Budget 2020-21 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today in Parliament.
“The increase in the health budget is 7% which the largest in many years. Although if you look at the context of initially the milenium development goals, we want the healthcare expenditure to come to 6% of the GDP. But still a 7% increase is a positive step and in the right direction.”
